Senior Software Engineer

We're looking for a seasoned backend engineer to lead the development of our AI content creation platform - a web-based, cloud platform that will unify what our Machine Learning, Computer Vision and CG teams have been building. The mission of the platform and of Wonder Dynamics is to bring blockbuster-level VFX to creators of all levels, but the potential of its applications extends well beyond visual effects.

If you join Wonder Dynamics, you will work alongside our founders, the Deep learning and Machine Learning teams. Additionally, there is an opportunity to grow into a team lead and potentially tech lead position in the department. Also, because we are operating in state-of-the-art territory, there will always be something new to learn on the horizon.

Key Responsibilities

• Creating a back-end service for AI web-based platform that will connect the various ML services that Machine Learning and Deep Learning teams built.

• Setting up and developing back-end APIs that will grow into a cloud-based platform

• Setting up the basic DevOps infrastructure

• Project architecture management

• Team management / mentorship of other software developers

• Has BS/MS in Computer Science or similar

• 5+ years of experience with backend development

• Experience in building and supporting scalable and secure web services

• Has strong knowledge and experience in one or more backend languages such as: C# (.NET), Java, Node.js, etc.

• Has DevOps experience

• Has knowledge about cloud application security best practices

• Has experience in building RESTful web services

• Experience deploying machine learning models is a plus.

• Experience with Microservices is a plus

• Experience setting up Docker / AWS is a plus
